About the Graphic Novel

Beyond the Road is a 90-page graphic novel memoir about rediscovering adventure with chronic illness through a 4-day campervan trip. It’s a personal story chronicling a key moment in my (semi-recent) past where I started to regain a foothold in my life and the joys that made it what it was before getting diagnosed.

This graphic novel is currently a work-in-progress, but there is a sample chapter ready, which I bring with me to conventions.
